- Avoid getting stressed. Stress produces a substance called cortisol that could induce your body to store fat in your lower belly. Try doing some exercises that could relax your mind like yoga and meditation.
- Increase daily activities. Things you could do to get more movement include taking a walk more often, taking the stairs sometime instead of using elevator or lift, playing with your kids, engaging in sports, etc.
